So many exciting things!
So here has been my past 24 hours:
- Yesterday morning: Josh and I decided to list the house, see what happens. Listed for $20,000 higher than our buying price.
- Met with realtor yesterday afternoon, officially signed listing papers. Crossed our fingers.
- 8:00 this morning: get a call from our realtor, house was shown last night to a lady who "loved it, loved it, loved it!" and we received an offer to purchase!
- 10:00 am: go to doctor. I'm 3 cm dialated. Doctor says "Go home and lay down but I won't be surprised if you deliver this weekend."
- 11:00 am: Go to realtor's office (bedrest? what?) Accept offer. Do a happy dance. :)
So that's pretty crazy, huh? We had prayed about it and said, "We feel like this is what we want to do so let's just list it and see what Heavenly Father makes happen." Both Josh and I feel really good about it. It will be nice to get some of our bills paid off and it will give him less stress about working so many hours to make house payments while taking classes. My mom is probably thinking, "When will these kids leave!" No, actually I think she really likes it. We'll see how she feels when Gabe and a newborn are crying at 2am. She said, "I'll just roll over onto my bad ear and smile and go back to sleep, happy I'm just the grandma." Thanks mom! No, but really we will be saving a lot of money the next few months living here. We're scheduled to close June 30th so everyone keep your fingers crossed for us that everything goes through. I'll post some pictures of Gabe at swimming two nights ago with Josh. He was a crazy man! He loves the water. Hopefully soon we'll post some new baby pics and this will become "Gabe and Caleb's page!"

33 weeks!
I am officially 33 weeks today (possibly 34 by baby's size)! Gabe is doing great. He's been answering the phone lately before we can get to it. People are probably confused when they hear, "He-woh?" and then "Deebee yaya?" He has his own language that I think Josh understands better than I do most of the time. He loves books about dogs and cars. And he recently discovered Bob the Builder from a rummage sale DVD my mom found. "Bah bah bah bah?" is "Can we watch Bob the Builder?"
The weather is so nice today, about 70 degrees and sunny. I'm so ready for summer! I'll post some pictures of Gabe playing outside at Lakeside Park with Josh. We were on our way to our house the other day to do some more work and Gabe reached over and opened the car door! (only a little and we were going slow) But I quick reached back and held it until we were able to stop and when we did stop it just happened to be in front of this daycare center. Then Gabe, seeing the play equipment right in front of him and Josh then getting out of the car(to come around and child-lock his door), Gabe yells, "Yay! Yay!" Cause he thought we were getting out to play there. Then when Josh got back in and we started to drive away he's like, "Oh no! Oh no!" and tears up. We felt so bad that we then went to the park and let him play for a while. It actually worked out because then he fell asleep in the car when we left the park and stayed asleep (on the crib mattress in the living room) while we worked on the house. I'll post some pics! Hope you're all doing well! Keep your blogs updated! And congrats to Annie and Jordan on the baby!

Happy Mother's Day!
Hi everyone!
In honor of Mother's Day I was going though some old photos to post and I had to laugh because I found some taken in 1985 at this park in my hometown of my mom and me and I have some of Gabe and me at the same exact places! So I will post some of those for you all to get a laugh from - notice in the train picture I still have the same head-tilt left pose going on 20 years later! I wish I had some more pictures of Josh and Diane to post! She is kind of notorious for wanting to be the one taking the picture instead of be in it! But I did find one hidden in Josh's picture files! :)
What else happened this week? Well, I went to the doctor yesterday. She is always thrilled to still see me. She said she checks the lists every morning to make sure I didn't call or come in during the night. I told her my mom has been saying from the start it will be on Mother's day and she's like, "No!!! At least another week and a half!" (34 weeks) It is really getting hard for me to stay down especially with the weather so nice.
Gabe is doing well. He has been with just me a few days this week because Josh started working again. Now that I'm kind of out of the danger zone we decided he should start. I think he's wishing now more than ever he was independently wealthy and could stay home with Gabe every day! (Doesn't everyone wish that of course?) Why can't we just all get paid for laying an the grass and watching our kids play? Can someone invent a way for us to make money at that please?
We've also been over at our house doing some improvements. It's been painted in the living room, nursery, and master br. Josh just laid a tile floor over the old wood in the sunroom. It's really looking nice. And this is gonna sound crazy, but we're thinking of flipping it. I know right? The market sucks so who knows if it'd even sell but we're thinking of listing it just to see. If it didn't sell then we'd move in and I'd be really happy but Josh would definitely work (roofing or at the farm) a lot and he'd get through his teaching classes a lot more slowly. If it did sell what would we do? Drumroll please....... possibly move back to Idaho! If I could have a dollar for every time Josh complained about missing Idaho neither of us would ever have to work and I could buy a beach house in Malibu! No joke. So anyways, we'd probably just rent and have Josh take a full course load so he could start teaching within a year. Then I might even do the online classes to teach too. After this baby we've decided we're definitely on a baby break. So no one ask me when the next one's coming for at LEAST three to four years. (Charm now I know how you felt!) So anyways, those are our recent family thoughts and issues. Tell me what you think we should do. Are we just restless? I promise we'll settle down when Gabe starts school. I kind of feel like we're one of those spinners right now and it's like, we'll be spinning for the next two years and where will we land? Cause where we are in two to three years is probably where we'll stay for a while.
Anyways, this is one long post! Josh is at the farm till noon and Gabe is out rummage-saling with my mom. He always comes home with like ten new toys and Josh goes crazy that he already has too many. Ahh... the joy of living with grandma, right?
Happy Mother's Day to all!
