I have to quick write about the Blue and gold banquet that we did for Cub Scouts this month! We decided to do a Star Wars theme which the boys helped pick. They did this really fun skit that I wrote (I hadn't planned on writing a skit but I couldn't find anything I liked on the internet!) and then we had pizza for the actual dinner (and some veggie trays, chips, fruit, etc.) We had some games too, like this "storm trooper shoot'em down" game with nerf guns and then they made these BB8 crafts out of paper plates. Also this month, Caleb somehow convinced us that he needed a guinea pig too. So we drove to Pocatello to buy him this guinea pig that someone was selling on Craigslist! Josh has quite the talent for finding animals for sale on Craigslist for some reason… Now we have two guinea pigs. Winnie (Gabe's) and Max (Caleb's). They do have cages, we just like to play with them in this barn.
Then Gabe and I got to go to this mother/son game night at the middle school on Friday, the 25th of February (the day before my mom came out here). It was a fun night for us to go and hang out together. They do a daddy/daughter Valentine's dance and then this mother/son game night.
Also, the boys are doing great at basketball this year. Both of their teams have been undefeated and have good coaches! It's been really fun to watch them!
Oh and I almost forgot - cute Avery on "Superhero" day at school. Caleb wanted to dress up like his dad - his hero… awwww
