Another ultrasound

Hi again! Well Josh is even more excited now that I've added The Jonas Brothers and Jason Castro to the playlist. He thought it couldn't get any more embarrassing! Boy was he wrong! :) Whatever, I love it.

So I had my ultrasound today and baby Caleb is cooking nicely. They estimate he is 4 lbs, 2 oz so he's got Gabe beat. My doctor is still going off the July 2 due date (which would make me 31 wks on Wednesday) but all my measurements indicate I'm over 32 weeks. My next appt. is in two weeks and then I go weekly. At 34 weeks she said I can start walking around. Yay! My mom says maybe I'll have him on Mother's Day. That'd be fine but I'm shooting for about May 19th (or later!)

Gabe is doing great. He's a little booger sometimes of course, but he's pretty good. The nursery leader told us he pushed kids down a couple times on Sunday when they wanted his toys and she recommended we teach him to say sorry with sign language. So we've been working on that. Otherwise his most commonly used words are "cookie, chocolate, chicken, car, truck, mama, and dada." Oh and of course "no" and "mine." Good thing he's having a little brother since he'll probably beat on him.

Well, that's all for now!

30 Weeks!

Today I am 30 weeks pregnant. For anyone who is keeping track that's one week past what Gabe was! Yay! My next goal is to make it into May. I have an ultrasound on Monday so hopefully this baby's big!

Gabe is doing great. He's so funny lately. He has some terrible two moments every now and then but usually he's pretty sweet. Sometimes if he's ignoring me and I'm laying on the couch (on bedrest) feeling lonely, I'll say, "Gabe will come give me a hug and a kiss?" and he'll of course ignore me because he's a boy and he's busy playing with his cars. But then if I do a little fake cry and say, "Please *sniffle* can I have a kiss?" he'll get a really concerned look and come right over. Yes, I am bad. And someday, he will probably be putty in some fake-crying woman's hands... oh boy those days are too far away to think about!

He is definitely a daddy's boy though. They are like, best buddies. If Gabe ever wakes up and Josh is gone to work he'll go through every room looking for him and saying, "Dada?" They've been playing outside a lot because the weather's so nice. I think we hit 72 today. I was actually hot laying on our deck in the sun! I can't wait for summmer.

Well, I'll post some pictures of Gabe and Josh outside a few weeks ago and Josh's birthday party (Gabe is blowing out the candles though). I may even get brave and post my fat pictures. I now weigh more than I've ever weighed in my whole life... but I guess it's good if it means a full-term baby right?

Check back often! I have a feeling this next month's gonna be pretty interesting!

Yes, we're still alive

Hi everyone!

So, I look at people's blogs sometimes and everyone's is so cute and high-tech! I keep thinking, "I should probably update mine," and I really have no excuse not to because I sit here on bedrest with nothing else to do. But it's so hard! Am I really that technologically unsavvy? It took me about three hours just to post a playlist! So I finally did it and Josh looked and just laughed at my fine music choices.

Let me explain... Gabe LOVES Hannah Montana (and basically any blond girl that sings) and these are his favorites. And since this is his website.... Okay and I like them too. I'm still a ten-year-old girl at heart. But enough of that. I hope all you Idaho people are doing well! Are you sick of cold weather yet? Here in Wisconsin it's been slowly warming up for the past few weeks. It's actually raining as I write this. At least the snow is gone. We all complain about the amount of snow we got this winter and Josh just laughs and shows me pictures his family sends of Ashton.

Gabe loves being outside. Him and Josh have been walking around the neighborhood every afternoon and he screams when we make him come inside. He's a pretty moody kid. He must get that from Josh. :) One second he'll be laughing hysterically and the next he'll freak out. He always lines up his toy cars (he has all these from the movie "Cars") and if anyone moves a car...watch out. Josh does it just to make him freak out, then I'll yell at Josh and he'll laugh and say, "I'm building his patience." (Do I have 2 kids?)

#2 will be here soon enough. Every day I wake up still pregnant I'm happy. I'm hoping to at least make it to 29 weeks which is what Gabe was. I'm 28 tommorow. Wish me luck! I can't wait to have this baby and move into our poor, lonely house. It's been ours since Feb. 28 but we're staying with my mom so she can help with Gabe while I lay in bed like a lazy bum. It's been nice staying here but I know Josh is especially excited to have a place of our own. I'll try to post some more pictures, hopefully it will take me less than a day to figure out!!!

Well, that's all for now!

Hi everyone!

Gabe is doing well. He is pretty fun these days. Josh and I each have callings now at church (I'm the primary chorister and Josh is the Valiant teacher) so Gabe has had to adjust to nursery fast. I always go in there at the start and do some songs with the kids then when I leave he usually cries for 2 minutes and stops. Last Sunday when Josh went to pick him up he was playing with this toy bus and he said, "Gabe, are you ready to go?" and Gabe shook his head no and kept playing. Pretty soon he's going to cry when we take him away! Here's some more pictures.

Yet a new site! Keepin' it fresh

So, on my quest to try every single baby website available on the internet, I have given up and come to the conclusion that most of them are not free. So, I checked where all my cheap, young Morman friends had their family sites and decided to go with this too! I haven't had to enter in a credit card number yet so it's lookin good.

Here are some pictures of Gabe at Halloween, fall days, etc. Hope you're all well!
