Our little man turned 3 years old yesterday. As I thought about that scary night he was born 3 years ago in Rexburg, it's hard to believe he is a perfectly normal, rambunctious, entertaining, sometimes naughty, and healthy three year old little boy! Everyone always told me the two's were terrible and three was great. Today, his second day as a three year old, I walked into the living room to find him playing peek-a-boo with a blanket over his face, making Caleb laugh hysterically, and he was actually SHARING his toy barn! I could not believe it. Then when he saw me he said, "Mommy, I be nice! I make baby laugh!!!" I'm sure in about three hours or less he'll freak out over Caleb touching his trains- his prized possession- but for today I'll just enjoy the thought that maybe three really will be the perfect age. :)

Wow! I can't believe he's 3! You know, with Tate, he was a better 2 year old than he has been at 3. For him, it's the terrible 3's. I think though, that it's just since we've had Lincoln. He realizes he's not the baby any more. Hopefully Gabe will be the opposite as Tate! :)
Happy Birthday GABE! Wow, that went fast. It seems like we were back at school just barely and you were telling me he was on the way here. Here's hoping to a wonderful year of being Three!
That's crazy that he's already three! It seems like just last year that I was holding him while you were yackin' away in the bathroom! ha ha! I forgot how TEENIE he was! He is such a cutie!... and good luck with the 3 thing. (My kids were WAY worse at 3 for some reason... but 4 was great!!)
To everyone who reads this, by "yacking away" Charm means not talking, but BARFING! It was the worst, sickest day of my whole life and Josh was gone to manage an APX office and I had just brought Gabe home from the hospital and I got this horrible flu. Luckily Charm was there to come hold Gabe all day for me! Thanks Charm! You're the best!!!
Thanks for adding us, we feel special! :) I can't believe your kids are so big, they are growing too fast! The pictures of your remodeled house look so nice. We're trying to redo ours too, but it doesn't look half as nice as yours! Oh and I didn't realize Josh served in Pittsburgh, tell him I grew up in Butler ward...if he knows where that is ;)
