A Few Home Projects….

Quick update here…
When we bought out home almost five years ago (which is crazy that it's been that long) one thing we noticed when we looked at the master bedroom was that they didn't put a very big vanity. There was totally room for a bigger one, it was like the builder had just decided not to spend any extra money and put in a big one. So we always said someday we would replace that. Well that "someday" was this past couple of days. Here are some before and afters…. (basically the same look, just a new counter top and an added bank of drawers and bigger mirror… and a smaller clock now… I need a bigger one… that big one broke...lol)

Then I also was starting to feel like my pantry was getting a little out of control. One day, Josh offered to put together a sloppy joe for me (using leftovers from the pack night that were in the fridge) and he said "But it will have to be on bread because we are out of buns." I was like, "Really? I thought we had some?" "Nope, I looked," he said. So I ate it on bread. Then the next day I found the buns in the pantry hiding behind a pile of cracker boxes. This is just one example of things getting lost in the black hole that was my pantry. I never knew what was in there it was such a mess. Part of the problem was that the shelves were so deep, anything could be behind those many layers of food items! So I had Josh build there little "steps" in there so each shelf has an extra "layer" that I can see. He also built some can organizers that make it so they automatically rotate down when you pull one off the shelf. He's handy like that. ;) Here are the before and afters of my pantry. (Exciting!!! Well… For me…)
